Then simply replace these dubious thoughts with thoughts of confidence and belief.

Not allowing a negative thought to linger is important. There’s a danger of destructive thoughts becoming habitual if they’re kept in mind for a considerable time. In which case, it might be extremely tricky to dispel or get rid of it.

Positive affirmation is also another way of working with negative thoughts. These words are meant to be recited or read repeatedly as they suggest positive ideas and beliefs.
